Anotace:

Teamwork is the basis of most of the activities that people perform in companies and their personal lives. In this course, students can try how to solve a technical task in a team, how to cooperate, how to communicate together and how to solve problems such as project delays, how to include external influences in the plan, etc.

Obsah:

Students work in teams on a topic (project) of their choice during the teaching part of the semester. At the beginning, they clarify with the supervisor what goals they want to achieve and then work on them in teams. There are also several events that take place while working on the project, which are listed in the timetable. The team presents their results in final presentations to the committee and other students. Course Schedule: Week 1 - professional lecture, team formation and topic selection. Week 2-14 - regular consultations with the contracting authority Week 14 - submission of final presentation to Moodle Week 1 of the exam period - final presentations

Osnovy přednášek:

During the semester, one lecture will be held covering the fundamentals of project management, with an emphasis on conducting meetings with the project supervisor (consultations).

Osnovy cvičení:

The course is conducted in the form of regular consultations with the project supervisor (project sponsor). During individual consultations, the project team: – presents the current progress of the project, – evaluates the fulfillment of defined partial tasks and milestones, – identifies risks and any deviations from the plan, – updates the schedule and work plan for the next consultation, – assigns responsibilities among team members, – documents the decisions made.
