The aim of the course is to introduce advanced methods of fiber optical detection based on gratings (FBG LPG), polarization, light scattering (Rayleigh, Raman, Brillouin) and interferometric approaches. It covers both analytical descriptions of the physical interactions, field distributions etc., as well as approaches to design of the detectors and measurement methodologies using fiber optic detectors with demonstration of specific applications (medical, aerospace, petrochemical, nuclear, etc.).Osnovy přednášek:
