Where do you currently work and what is the scope of your work?

The scope of my work is archival scientific work divided into several segments. On the one hand, it is a work with researchers on specific issues and searching for archival materials, on the other hand, it is the processing of the obtained documents into an archival form, and, also, it is my scientific work. It deals with the position of elite technicians, especially professors at technical universities in European society in the 19th and 20th centuries.

What has your doctoral studies given you for your current career?

The doctoral program significantly oriented me to the methodology of scientific historical work. I am surer of the historical methods I must choose during my work. I have had and still have the chance to work with the science centers for the History of Science and Technology in Prague and Paris, thanks to the judicious long-term cooperation that the Historical Laboratory of (Electro)Technology FEE has with the Paris institutions from its beginnings.

Where have you been during your doctoral studies and where have you been at postdoc?

DSP HVT requires at least one month's internship abroad. I was able to spend significantly more than a month in the Paris archives (Archives nationales Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, Archives nationales du monde du travail Roubaix, Center des Archives diplomatiques du ministère des Étrangères La Courneuve, etc.) and scientific institutions (Ecole polytechnique, Univ.Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne etc.) thanks to the care of the dissertation leader M. Efmertová. The internships were crucial for me for the next work I can do now in Paris.
