1. Basic concepts of theoretical electrical engineering
2. Materials in electrical engineering 1
3. Materials in electrical engineering 2
4. Direct current (DC) machines
5. Alternating current (AC) machines
6. Electrochemical sources
7. Fundamentals of lighting technology and illumination
8. Structure of the power industry
9. Transmission and distribution systems
10. Protection and safety of electrical equipment, contactors, relays
11. Nuclear, thermal, and gas power plants
12. Renewable sources of electrical energy
13. Photovoltaic sources and systems
14. Final classified credit test

Exercises outline:

1. Introduction to electrical engineering, basic orientation in documentation
2. Material measurements and technology demonstrations
3. Electrical measurements and technology demonstrations
4. High-voltage laboratories and the school power plant
5. Light and heat
6. Renewable energy sources

Literature:

Due to the broad scope of the course, specific literature is not recommended. During lectures and via discussions on MOODLE, both lecturers and students search for relevant articles, videos, and information. All supplementary materials related to the course are available at: https://moodle.fel.cvut.cz/
