Information for Ukrainian applicants for Bachelor's degree programs in Czech

Additional admission procedure for Czech Bachelor's degree programs [in Czech]
Additional admission procedure for Czech Master degree programs [in Czech]

  • Applicants for Czech Bachelor's degree programs (Ukrainian citizens who have a temporary protection/refugee visa in the Czech Republic) attending the entrance exam in mathematics can request for assignment in English.
  • All applicants must provide the certificate that demonstrates their proficiency in Czech language comparable to or exceeding the level B1 (normally B2 is required). All relevant information and instructions will be published on the website of the Department of Languages [in Czech].
  • For attending of the mathematics entrance exam as well as the Czech language exam, all applicants from Ukraine will have to prove themselves with a temporary protection/refugee visa in order to receive the admission relief (it applies to candidates registered in both first and second rounds of the admission procedure).

Scholarship/support application for students from Ukraine currently studying at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in the frame of the Bachelor, Master's and Ph.D. full-time degree programs

  • free-of-charge accommodation;
  • free-of-charge meals;
  • scholarship – 10.000 CZK per month.

The management of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering has decided to provide extraordinary support and assistance to students and staff with Ukrainian citizenship. Contact person: Mr. Oleg Fetisov, Ph.D.

We have found in the frame of our International Office a contact point for international students and staff where they can get an advice, help, psychological, social, legal and visa support. Current FEE study measures to help Ukrainian students:

  • possibility to arrange an individual study plan for this academic year;
  • possibility of the cancellation of already registered subjects;
  • possibility to arrange an individual examination period, i. e. to take the exams until September;
  • possibility of the tinterruption of studies by the end of this academic year;
  • possibility to pass the final state exam at the turn of August and September;
  • remission of the fee in case of solving the study situation in the form of lifelong learning.

We would also like to inform about several other helpful steps for our students and applicants from Ukraine:

  1. The management of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering decided to extend the one-semester research exhcange program Nikola Šuhaj Scholarship and to allow the participation for Master's and Doctoral Degree students studying similar programs and fields at any public technical university in Ukraine.
  2. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering participates in the state program of government scholarships, which is aimed to support applicants from developing countries including Ukraine in the form of scholarship and tuition fees payment. As part of the next admission campaign, Faculty will offer all Master's programs conducting in English.
  3. We would like recommend to all our Ukrainian students and applicants to monitor regularly the offers of different scholarship programs, such as the Visegrad Scholarship Program. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the International Office, as well as the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kyiv, Czech Center in Kyiv, the House of Europe etc.
