The course is suitable for students who have good knowledge of the material covered in secondary school. Course objective: The course focuses on technical English and practising difficult grammar.Study targets:
Course objective: The course focuses on technical English and practising difficult grammar. Listening: Authentic texts, exercises from the texts, argumentation. Reading: Technical texts. Speaking: Discussion, agreeing and disagreeing in a discussion, expressing opinion, commentary. Writing: Note-Taking, Paragraph Structure, Commonly Used Transitions, Summary, Abstract, Argumentation Paper. Grammar: Revision of tenses, infinitives, nominative and accusative + infinitive, gerund, participles, relative clauses, conditionals, connectors, determiners, conjunctions, prepositions, articles, phrasal verbs, word formation. Syntax of technical texts. Use of dictionaries.Content:
