Study targets:

Student acquire knowledge of fire protection systems and safety regulations regarding to building services.

3) Types of fire extinguishers, portable fire extinguisher.
4) Sprinklery, stable fire extinguishing equipment.
5) Electrical equipment in an environment with fire, explosion.
6) Electrical equipment in a non-flammable environment.

8) Protection of electrical distributions, lightning rods.
9) Fire ventilation in administrative buildings.
10) Fire ventilation in specialized operations ( garages, hall ).
11) Equipment for heat and smoke removal.
12) Fire ventilation in specialized operations ( social hall )

Course outlines:

Introduction, principles of design of fire water systems in buildings. Introduction to important ČSN.Types extinguishers, sprinklers, small fire extinguishers, fire need water. The choice of type and location of fire hydrants in the buildings. Characteristics of electrical equipment in an environment without the danger of fire, the danger of fire or explosion of explosives. Protection against heat, fire protection, against burning, against overheating. Design of electrical distribution systems with respect to fire Safety.Characteristics fire alarm devices (EPS) used detectors of distributions according to CSN, the design and implementation of the ENP, documentation, example. Introduction to ČSN. Fire important in the building and the types of threats to buildings and technology. Environmental requirements for the escape routes, the spread of fire in the building. Fire ventilation in residential buildings, meeting with important ČSN. Fire ventilation in office buildings, fire ventilation in special operations (garages, factory buildings and various facilities). Special Equipment for heat.

Exercises outline:

Practical design of fire water supply in the specified object, design of fire alarm, fire ventilation design in residential building.
