Mandatory attachments to the application (Dean's Directive for Entrance Examinations, para. 1.5):
- copy of the certificate of completion of master's studies,
- statement of study results of master's and bachelor's studies, including the results of state exams, in case they are part of the study,
- CV in English,
- statement of the potential supervisor,
- document proving knowledge of English language according to paragraph 1.3 of the Dean's Directive for Entrance Examinations (attach only if you have such a document; alternatively, your proficiency in English may be assessed during the admission process.)
- proof of completed studies in the Czech language or successful completion of exams at the FEE language department at level B2 in the case of a study programme in the Czech language /if not proven according to 1. or 2., applies to foreign students/. (attach only if you have such a document; alternatively, your proficiency in English may be assessed during the admission process.)
Optional, recommended attachements to the application (Dean's directive for admission procedure, para. 1.6):
- text of diploma thesis (including the thesis in progress) in pdf format or a link to download it,
- list of publications in scientific journals and at scientific conferences, if the applicant has any, with links to download them,
- brief research plan drawn up by the supervisor in collaboration with the applicant on the research he/she wishes to pursue during the doctoral studies,
- contact details of preferably two persons who can provide references,
- other supporting documents.
Before submitting the formal application, please contact your potential supervisor and select a dissertation topic from the list of framework topics. In the application, it is necessary to fill out both the topic as well as the name of the supervisor. Please note that you need to reach an agreement with your supervisor in advance as they have the right to veto your admission.
