Anotation:

Teamwork is the basis of most of the activities that people perform in companies and their personal lives. In this course, students can try how to solve a technical task in a team, how to cooperate, how to communicate together and how to solve problems such as project delays, how to include external influences in the plan, etc.

Study targets:

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the management part of the project and we want them to experience the symbiosis of the professional and management levels of the project on a real project. Students should realize that the management part, for example communication with team members, creating plans and documentation, or presenting results in a reasonable form is not unnecessary bureaucracy but an integral part of the solution.

Content:

Students work in teams on a topic (project) of their choice during the teaching part of the semester. At the beginning, they clarify with the supervisor what goals they want to achieve and then work on them in teams. There are also several events that take place while working on the project, which are listed in the timetable. The team presents their results in final presentations to the committee and other students. Course Schedule: Week 1 - professional lecture, team formation and topic selection. Week 2 - 1st consultation (clarification of the assignment), creation of the official assignment Week 7 - 2nd consultation Week 14 - submission of final presentation to Moodle Week 1 of the exam period - final presentations

Course outlines:

The students are divided into teams to solve the projects announced by the faculty members. The work on the projects is checked by both the supervisor and the coordinators during consultations. In order to receive credit, students must meet the project objectives, submit the deliverables required by the supervisor, participate in consultations, and submit and present a final presentation as a team.
