Registering for electives taught outside FEE
FEE Study Office decree no. 2/2015
Ref. No.: 86/13922/2015/Ši
Students can register for electives offered by other departments at CTU, or other universities. Two examples follow:
- Registration for a subject in another department at CTU, where pre-registration is possible;
- Registration for a subject in another department at CTU without pre- registration or in another university.
Re: 1. Registration for a subject in another department at CTU, where pre-registration is possible;
The student registers the subject in KOS during the preliminary registration period and subsequently confirms their enrollment during the regular registration period with the FEE Study Office. The subject, which will function as an elective within their study plan, works like any other FEE subject. If for some reason the student can not register the subject in KOS themselves, proceed proceed according to the following point.
Re: 2. Registration for a subject in another department at CTU or university.
- The student finds a subject according to their interest in the target department and requests the vice-dean of studies for the target department to confirm the registration together with the conditions of registration.
- The student, through their study officer, shall request the FEE vice-dean of studies to register the foreign subject and subsequently recognize it as an elective in their study plan.
- If approved, the student is allowed to register the subject in KOS with an officer of the FEE Study Office during the regular registration period.
- After completing the course, the final assessment is recorded in KOS:
- If this is in regards to a CTU subject, then an authorized examiner recoreds it:
- Otherwise, the student is to bring a confirmation of completion of the course and final assessment from the target department, it is then recorded by an authorized employee of the study office.
