Dean's Award for prestigious dissertation awarded
The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague awarded the Dean's Award for a prestigious dissertation. The authors of awarded works and their supervisors will receive an honorary recognition from the Dean and a financial reward. Congratulations.
The main requirements for the award are the publication of the core of the dissertation in international journals, citation response, opponent of the dissertation from a prestigious foreign workplace. The obvious requirement is therefore to write and defend a work in a world language.
The Dean's Award for a prestigious dissertation is awarded annually.
In 2021, the following nominated authors received the award:
- Ing. Tomáš Lonský, Ph.D. for work Fabrication and characterization of diamond photonic structures under the supervision of prof. RNDr. Bohuslav Rezek, Ph.D., co-supervisor RNDr. Lukáš Ondič, Ph.D.
- Ing. Mehran Mirzaei, Ph.D. for work Magnetic Material Modleing and Simulations for Magnetic Sensors under the supervision of prof. Ing. Pavel Ripka, CSc.
- Ing. Mehyar Najla, Ph.D. for work Advanced Allocation of Resources for Device-to-Device Communication in Future Mobile Networks under the supervision of Ing. Pavel Mach, Ph.D., co-supervisor doc. Ing. Zdeněk Bečvář, Ph.D.
- Victor Emile Phillippe Claerbout, MSc., Ph.D. for work Solid Lubricants at the Nanoscale: Frictional behavior in silico under the supervision of Paolo Nicolini, Ph.D.
- Ing. Tomáš Báča, Ph.D. for work Cooperative Sensing by a Group of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles under the supervision of doc. Ing. Martin Saska, Dr. rer. nat.
