The first student of Tomsk Polytechnic University obtained a Czech-Russian degree

Jekaterina Mojsejevova, a student of Tomsk Polytechnic University, successfully defended her thesis in front of a Czech-Russian committee. She became the first graduate of the MA double degree program Electric Power Generation and Transportation, realized under the Czech Technical University (CTU) and Tomsk Polytechnic University since 2010.

The program offers two degrees; one from Czech Technical University in Prague in the field of Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Engeneering and the other from Tomsk Polytechnic University in the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering and Management.

The defense took place in the Energetic Institute of Tomsk Polytechnic University in a form of a videoconference. The questions came from both institutions in Russian and English. A few Czech students in Tomsk came to express their support to Jekaterina.
