Kamila Babayeva, our almuni, awarded by the prof. Vlček scholarship
Prague public universities involved in the Study in Prague project, which aims to jointly promote programs in foreign languages, on Friday, December 3, awarded an Extraordinary Scholarship of prof. Miroslav Vlček to international degree students. The ceremony took place in the Residence of the Mayor of the Prague City Hall, which was lent to the consortium by the Mayor of Prague Zdeněk Hřib.
Students who, in addition to their studies in English, contributed to share the good name of their home university, Prague and Czech higher education, received a special scholarship. Kamila Babayeva, now a graduate of the English program Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, was awarded from CTU in Prague. Kamila not only promoted her program internationally but was also selected for her research activities, which she presented abroad at conferences and thus presented Prague as an ideal city for study and research, and the assistance she gave to other international students at CTU during their studies.
Slavnostní ceremonie se odehrála v Rezidenci primátora Magistrátu hl. města Prahy, kterou konsorciu zapůjčil primátor Prahy pan Zdeněk Hřib.
Former Vice-Rector for International Relations prof. Miroslav Vlcek contributed to the creation of the Prague consortium Study in Prague, when his idea to unite universities and promote each other became real in 2015. To honor him, universities created a special scholarship for foreign international degree students. Currently, there are seven public universities in the Study in Prague consortium, namely Czech Technical University in Prague, Charles University, the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, The Prague University of Economics and Business, The Academy of Performing Arts and The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
