Get Spin-off/Start-up Ready!

Spin-off/Start-up Ready! is a semester-long, hands-on commercialization program that helps ČVUT students and researchers turn their scientific ideas into real-world impact. Running February–June 2026, with applications open 1 December 2025–15 January 2026, the program combines expert-led workshops, individual mentoring, and practical assignments to guide participants through validating market potential, building a business plan, shaping a go-to-market strategy, protecting IP, and pitching to investors. With a small cohort of 16, bi-weekly in-person sessions in Prague, and a final Investor Pitch Night, participants gain the skills, network, and support needed to confidently explore entrepreneurship and take their first steps toward creating a university spin-off or startup.

Who can apply?  ČVUT students, PhD candidates, postdocs, researchers — Czech and international — who want to test the business potential of their ideas. No previous business experience required
