Save the Dean, the summer FEL CAMP challenges high school students to a scientific mission. The novelty will be a competition in which everyone can participate
A thrilling rescue mission awaits the participants of this year's FEL Camp, which will take place between 24th and 28th July near the South Bohemian village Temešvár. They will be searching for the dean of FEE CTU, professor Petr Páta. The scientist got "lost" during a research on the banks of the Orlík reservoir, where he investigated the connection between satellite imagery and changes in water level.

According to the ranking of the best institutions in the field of computer science, researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics of CTU are among the European leaders in selected fields. In the field of Computer Vision, researchers from the CTU Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the CIIRC rank among the top five European institutes in the evaluation of scientific results in the period 2018 to 2023.
Zdeněk Mihula from FEE CTU is a member of the prestigious EMS Young Academy, newly established by the European Mathematical Society
The European Mathematical Society (EMS) has established the EMS Young Academy (EMYA) to support young researchers in mathematics. The organisation consists of Ph.D. students and recent Ph.D. graduates. It will have a total of 120 members, who will be elected successively for four-year terms. Each year, there is an election in which a quarter of the members is elected. This year, RNDr. Zdeněk Mihula, Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU, is among the first ever thirty mathematicians who received a mandate.
Academics, students and companies gather at CTU Battery Day. They will address trends in energy storage
The first edition of the CTU Battery Day seminar is approaching. Experts from our university, in cooperation with representatives of the Danish Aalborg University, will present their research activities on batteries. The seminar is preceded by a three-day Battery Course. Both events are free of charge. Participants can register for one or both events.
Dozens of high school students tried out robot programming and advanced image editing at FEE CTU.
On 10 March, sixty high school students arrived at the Become an AI Expert for a Day event held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU. The participants visited four laboratories where teachers and PhD students from the CTU Faculty of Electrical Engineering presented AI research projects and the students tried out various practical tasks.
International Student Conference on Sensors, Systems and Measurements Offers the Opportunity to Earn Points for Scientific Activities and Cash Prizes
The second edition of the student conference is approaching. Undergraduate, engineering and PhD students can now submit papers in the field of sensors, systems and measurements. The conference will take place on June 15-16 June 2023 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU. Applications can be submitted until April 14th.
43rd Encounters with Music: Franz Schubert's Fantasies and Small Musical Pieces of the Greats
We kindly invite you to the 43rd Encounters with Music, which will be held on March 20th 2023. The programme includes Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns and other great composers. The event takes place in the Zenger Auditorium on the FEE CTU campus on Charles Square. The musical cycle regularly hosts top musicians - this time, violinist Roman Patočka and pianist Stanislav Gallin.

The hunger for graduates of computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering from CTU on the labour market continues unabated. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) of CTU and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE) of CTU in Prague are meeting companies by organizing the second year of the Career Days. The two-day event, which will include an accompanying professional programme, will take place on 28 and 29 March 2023 at the premises of both faculties in Dejvice.

We would like to invite you to the habilitation lecture Occlusive method of blood pressure measurement for patients with implanted cardiac support type CF-LVAD by assistant professor Vratislav Fabián. The lecture will take place on 8 March 2023 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague - Dejvice. It is a part of the proceeding for appointment as associate professor. Dr. Fabián has been researching advanced blood pressure measurement methods for 15 years.
Invitation for Workshops: Students of Computer Science Can Expand their Knowledge in IT Security, Application Development and Project Management
In the upcoming summer semester, students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Information Technology can expand their knowledge in the field of software engineering through workshops. Enthusiasts from FEE CTU are launching a unique course How to Make (Almost) Anything. There are no more vacancies
As part of the Cybernetics and Robotics study programme at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, students could enrol in a new compulsory elective course How to Make (Almost) Anything - and the interest was enormous. Jiří Zemánek, a "scientific handyman" who was inspired, among other things, by the course of the same name at the renowned MIT University, is the guarantor and lecturer. The new course is unique in the Czech environment in its scope - students are to learn how to use software and hardware tools to create projects using digital manufacturing, but the focus does not have to be limited to robotics or electrical engineering.
World ranking of Electrical Formulas: the student team from FEE CTU jumped to the seventeenth place, it is ninth in Europe
The student racing team eForce FEE Prague Formula from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU has significantly jumped in the main category of the ranking of 279 student teams from all over the world. It is in the top ten European teams, 17th globally and first among competitors from domestic universities. This is one of the best rankings in eForce team history. Students from different faculties of the CTU, especially from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, collaborate on the design of the piloted and autonomous electric formula.
