Extend knowledge for design, control and evaluation of single-zone and multi-zone air conditioning systems.Cíle studia:
Needed knowledge for design, control and evaluation of single-zone and multi-zone air conditioning systems.Obsah:
Theory and practice of air-conditioning systems design. During the tutorials, the theoretical basis will be used for analytical calculations. · Heat load of an air-conditioned rooms · Concepts of single and multi-zone air-conditioning systems for residential, working and technological environments. · Basic characteristics of air-conditioning systems, all air / water / refrigerant, heat transfer, ventilation systems. · Concepts and functions of sources of cold and heat for air-conditioning systems, condensation heat removal and its possible utilization. · Air-conditioning systems – all air single duct, double-duct, VAV, sizing. · Water air-conditioning systems with fan convectors, sizing, design of fan convectors and fresh air supply system. · Water systems with cooling ceilings, sizing. · Combined air-water systems with induction units, sizing. · Split and multisplit air-conditioning systems, sizing. · Operation of air-conditioning systems in the year-round period, check of air-conditioning in psychrometric chart. Calculation of energy needs for air-conditioning system (el. energy, heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification). · Energy simulations for air-conditioning. · Low-energy cooling of buildings. · Legislation on air-conditioning, inspections and eco-design.Osnovy přednášek:
Basic characteristics of all-air, all-water, all-refrigerant air conditioning systems.Typical sigle-zone and multi-zone systems. Design and calculation of air conditioning systems (all-water (fan-coil)systems; all-refrigerant systems; all-air single-duct and dual-duct systems; combined air-water induction systems; cooling ceilings). Cooling for air conditioning. Natural ventilation of building. Quality and efficiency of ventilation, age of air. Energy balance simulation.
